Bus Information
Real Time Passenger Information
Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) is the system which allows actual, rather than scheduled, departure times for buses to be provided to the public. The Check That Bus facility on PlymGo allows you to access Real Time bus information from your computer - enter the bus stop name or its unique SMS bus stop code into the ‘Check that bus’ field on the home page. The bus stop code is displayed on the bus stop flag and can also be found by searching for your stop on this page.
You can also access passenger information using either of the following methods:
- On street displays - many of the bus shelters in Plymouth are fitted with RTPI electronic displays, like those in the shelters in Royal Parade, which show the departures times of the buses.
- By text message - if you text the unique SMS bus top code to 84268 you will receive a reply text message displaying the next three buses to that stop, real time and scheduled time will be shown. Text messages may be charged at your standard message rate.
You can search for a bus stop below to find real-time bus information for the stop and view it on a map.
